About AntiShockCase & How We Test

AntiShockCase is an independent guide to protective cases for drones, phones and tablets, published by WebGenerator bv (Rotterdam, NL). Our goal is simple: help you tell a genuinely protective case from one that just looks tough.

Our standards

Every spec we publish is checked against the manufacturer’s own data, and we mark clearly when a claim can’t be verified. Every product verdict includes what’s wrong with the product — there are no exceptions, because cons are what make a review useful.

How we read MIL-STD-810

“Military-grade” is a marketing phrase, not a certification. MIL-STD-810 is a US Department of Defense standard describing a series of environmental test methods — including transit drop testing, which uses a sequence of 26 drops across the faces, edges and corners of a device. Manufacturers can run these methods themselves, so “810G/810H compliant” is not an independent pass/fail. We rank brands by how honestly and specifically they disclose what they actually tested.

Specs we can’t verify

When a manufacturer claims an IP rating or a drop height without supporting detail, we say so rather than repeating it as fact. Independently certified figures (for example SGS-tested IP67) are noted as such.
